                     Carrier Associate/Service Management & Provisioning   06/05 – 09/16

·                          Implemented Vonage 911 service. Processed ASRs to the CLECs to establish  E911 connectivity.

·                          Processed circuit order requests (ASR or Forms) for the Vonage network to over 75 carriers-

      TDM (POTS,PRI,DS1,DS3), Optical or Point to Point     

      (OC3,OC12,OC48,OC192), Ethernet (GigE, 10Gig, Fast E), MPLS circuits, SS7 

      Point codes.           

·                        Ordered cross connects to several colo providers- Switch, Equinix, Telx, Coresite,Telehouse, NAP of the Americas. Kept detailed records of the Vonage patch panel/router assignments and updated the circuit database.

·                        Worked with the Vonage Network Engineers to set up testing and activation of all circuits ordered.

·                         Scrubbed monthly invoices for accuracy (circuits, cross connects, voice termination, PRI, Internet services.

·                        Worked with International & domestic routing team on trunk group builds for interconnections between Vonage and the carriers. Setup technical calls and filled out forms for requirements for both inbound and outbound services. Obtained carrier locations, exchanged IP info, codecs, equipment Type, routing prefixes etc.

·                        Worked with the carriers & Network Engineering team on network migrations, trunk group builds, augments and changes. We used Remedy & Jira to enter tickets for the required tasks.

·                        Kept detailed records of the full network voice termination inventory in excel- trunk group names, IPs, call session capacity.

·                        Was the SPOC for SMS project to make all Vonage numbers SMS enabled. Worked with SAP, Twilio, NetNumber and Layered. Ordered short codes, ran meetings with OSS and SMS carriers for this project.

·                        Network Monitoring- Pulled daily reports for outbound voice termination traffic to check for call quality. Managed 65 voice termination carriers and checked various KPIs for issues- packet loss, dropped audio, high jitter, call completion, ABR, ALOC, dropped calls. Used in house tool and GCS for monitoring. Placed blocks on carriers and worked with the Vonage NOC on opening trouble tickets and resolving the quality issues.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

·                         Received an award for assisting Vonage consolidate their NY colo and save $20k a month.

·                         LA decommission project. Received an award for assisting in decommissioning their LA Colo and save $120k a month.

·                         Renegotiate the contracts of 10Gig backbone circuits for 3 year terms  and save $120k a year.

·                        TDM-SIP migration- Worked on converting all carriers with TDM circuits over to SIP and place all the disconnects.

·                        Access circuits for SMB customers project to convert circuits from TDM to Ethernet- $34k/month savings.

·                         Received compensation for assisting Vocalocity (Vonage acquisition) install their MPLS network under strict timeline.

·                        Analyzed Access Service Requests and built route using Circuit Order Layout Request (COLR) and NISE.

·                        Highly skilled in designing circuits using Nortel, Cisco, Lucent OC48, OC12 and OC3 equipment.

·                        Worked with City Operations and Test and Turn Up to resolve issues with the Engineering.

·                         Analyzed all Access Service Requests to adequately meet the customer’s specifications.

·                        Processed DS0, DS1, DS3, OC3C, OC12C, OC48C service requests from customers in a timely manner. Also Project Managed high volume orders for specific customers.

·                        Processed large quantities of Call Vantage Orders (CVOIP) under short deadlines.

·                        Provisioned Comcast, IBM, Worldnet and CVOIP orders as well as designing them.

·                        Worked with several LECs using GUI interface (Frontier, Verizon, SBC, Ameritech, Qwest, Bell South) to coordinate, turn up or work on any issues with the submitted orders.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

§      Received the Star Performer Award for my involvement in the @ Home Project for AT&T

§      Received AT&T Team player of the month award for the months of June 2000, Sept 2001.

§      Sent to AT&T Staten Island offices to assist Trunking group with large volumes of orders.

§      Worked night shifts during the WTC disaster to recover down circuits and equipment and redesign them to a new part of AT&T’s network.

§      Worked with the LEC (Ameritech) on resolving conflicting issues with our equipment in our Colocation space
